Apex Legends is one of the most popular online first-person shooter games of this time. It has around 70 million players worldwide. Players can compete in a three-man squad with their friends or random players like most other battle royale games. The main motive is to land and find guns, shields, and other survival stuff to survive till last and kill all other players.
Apex Legends Ranked Arena Update
Apex Legends’ Arenas mode rolled out with the launch of Season 9: Legacy. It was a big update for the players as they were getting new modes in the game. Arena mode is a small 3v3 arena that allows practicing against one another in a closed environment. Only 6 players can join in a match so no worries about messing up with a third party.
With the launch of this mode, Respawn also confirmed that they will bring a ranked version of the mode. Ranked version supposed to come to the battle royale soon with tighter SBMM and rewards.
Some players were expecting to see the ranked arenas in Season 9. But it seems it will be available in season 10 as it is very close. But it is confirmed that Ranked Arenas will not come in Patch 9.1 expected in late June of 2021. Director of Communications Ryan Rigney tweeted: “Ranked Arenas not planned for 9.1 patches. Needs more time in the oven” on 12th June.
Some of the players were frustrated by the news as they were much excited for the ranked mode. But later they understood that to make the Ranked mode strong and better, Respawn will need more time to improve it.
