Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021 – Registration

The developer, Krafton has announced the very first major tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021. It will begin in early August and will be going on for 3 months. In this tournament, only the Indian teams can enter the Battle Ground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021 because it is the very first eSports tournament for the BGMI players.

From 19th July 2021, the registration of the battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 will begin. The players will need to register with their squad from BGIS 2021 official website. But before that, the registration portal will need to open. Totally free entry but your age will have to be 18+.

BGIS 2021 – Tournament Format

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 will be divided into 5 stages which will last for 3 months.

First stage: The In-game Qualifiers

It will be from 2nd August to 8th August. Everybody will be able to participate. Only 1024 teams will get the chance to survive to the next stage.

Second Stage: Online Qualifiers

The duration of the second stage of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 is from 1st August to 12th September. Out of the 1024 squads, 64 squads will be able to qualify.

3rd Stage: Quarter Finals

The duration is from 16th September to 26th September and participating squads will be 64 and only 16 squads will be able to qualify them.

Losers Bracket

The date hasn’t been declared yet. 48 squads will participate and only 8 of them will be able to qualify them.

4th Stage: Semi-Finals

From 30th September to 3rd October, it will be held and out of the 24 teams, 16 teams will continue.

Final Stage: Grand Finals

It will be from 7th October to 10th October. 16 squads will participate and a total of 20 matches will be played over 4 days to find out the champion.

BGIS 2021 prize pool

The total prize pool of the BGIS is 1,00,00,000 INR. The top 16 squads will win prizes, the winners will get 5000000 INR, the 2nd place winner squad will get 25,00,000 INR and the 3rd place winners will get 10,00,000 INR. There will be 13 more squads who will win prizes and also there will be prizes for the MVP, The Long Ranger, The Rampage Freak, Most Finishes from a squad, and The Redeemer.
