However, there is no official release date or details confirmed yet about the call of duty 2021. It’s been expected that Activision can use Warzone to help reveal the game. That’s how it was revealed at Black Ops Cold War in 2020.
Some predict that a game event that will be happening in August can help reveal the new call of duty 2021. Apart from that, the release date of the game is likely to fall in October or November of 2021. After few weeks or next month officials, details will come out.
Warzone Integration and Reveal?
According to a recent report from VGC, COD 2021 can be revealed in a game Warzone event like last year’s COD: Black Ops Cold War Although, VGC’s report suggests a big Warzone integration can be in the pipeline which will be developed by Sledgehammer Games, COD is to be powered by Modern Warfare’s ‘IW8’ engine, just like Warzone. That should make the integration of the games easier.
As VGC says, Sledgehammer has a lot of content planned for Warzone when it shifts to this supposed WW2 setting, including Warzone’s “largest and most ambitious (map) to date” that’s “planned to coincide with the release of the game rather than arriving months later.” We can clearly understand that the report is saying this map will take players to the Pacific theater of WW2 and adds that there will be new vehicles to help players traverse the larger space.
